Yakiniku Dinner - Day 8

I've been waiting for this meal since we arrived in Japan.  Its Japanese Style BBQ (Yakiniku) - the best beef I have ever tasted!  Its so tender, practically melts in your mouth!  Before our dinner, we relaxed at home.  It was a beautiful day so I played in the backyard for awhile.

Shopping Day and Family Dinner - Day 7

Today we did some shopping in Kagoshima.  I got excited because we were able to ride a bus to the shopping area.  That night, all the grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles gathered for a fun dinner.  I was pretty happy because there was another baby there to play with (Masaichi).

Ibusuki and Sushi Dinner - Day 6

On Day 6, we went to Ibusuki which is known for their sand bath and onsen (hot springs).  We also got to ride a special train on the way back that was very cool.  That night, we had the most delicious sushi dinner.

Visiting Kushikino - Day 5

On day 5, we went to Kushikino where Ojiichan (Grandpa Kimotsuki) grew up.  We went to go visit the cemetery where some of my ancestors are buried.  Before we left, we were able to see my Uncle Shoji getting ready for his recital where he was going to play some Hawaiian music on his ukulele.

Traveling to Kagoshima - Day 4

On Day 4, we made our way from Hiroshima to Kagoshima by bullet train again.  We were able to stop for some delicious ramen noodles (my favorite).
