Christmas Day - Kimotsuki Style

Mom, Dad, and I woke up to a beautiful morning overlooking a view of the bay from the Oakland Hills. Late in the morning, we drove down to Fremont to put a cap on the Christmas weekend....Kimotsuki style.

Christmas Eve

 Dec 24th, 2011. Mark that day in the calendar as the Huen clan's first Christmas in California. What better way for the family to mark that day than with a holiday get together at Grandma Huen's place in Oakland. Uncle Roman spent mos tof the day preparing a feast for everyone! Prime Rib was on the menu so of course Uncle Roman sported his House of Prime Rib apron. I wish I had taken a shot of that picture. Oops.

Anyway, we were lucky to have such great food, great family, and great reason to celebrate with Grandma and Grandpa's favorite grand kids!

Its Friday. Mom and Dad have the day off so we are going to spend it roaming around the city and getting some errands done. Haircuts, last minute Christmas shopping, and some good eats.

Its been kind of a crazy week. The Huen household is sort of like an infirmary at the moment with everyone being sick. As a result, I've had little energy to blog. I'm finally feeling better so Im back blogging again!

Last weekend was much more eventful than this one. We went out to the East Bay to visit the Wen's. It was Mason's first birthday. Watch out big guy, Im right behind you. I'll be one next month! It was fun to see so many kids last weekend. I hope there are many more like it in the future!

What better way for Grandma to spend her first birthday in the bay area than with a little family get together out in the East Bay at Pizza Antica. Thanks Unc Roman for lunch. I loved my cheese sandwich, fries, and most importantly, the pizza!

Grandma, thanks for all your help over the last 10 months. I've loved spending all this time with you and cant wait for all our future special moments.
