4 Months Old Now...
Back To Work
Well, there's been some good news and some bad new this week. The good news is Grandma Huen arrived from New York this week. It marked her first time in close to 40 years that she's lived outside of New York. Welcome to Callifornia! Can't wait for Grandpa Huen to get here too.
The bad news is Mom officially started back at work today. She left this morning and I miss her terribly. Fortunately Im in good hands with Grandma during the day now.
I went on my first preschool visit this week and Mommy and Daddy hired a preschool consultant to help me get into the right preschool. Who knew there was so much to this process!!!!
Like my pics above? I know you all have seen these before, but Daddy started using Picnik.com to create some nice layouts and tweak my pics. We love it!

Look ma, no hands!
We had more visitors from New York this week. Uncle Michael and Rosana were in town for a wedding and stopped by to say hello. Maybe next time they are in town they will bring the kids. Otherwise, Im sure I will be in the tri state area sometime in the near future to meet them!
Daddy has been trying to help me learn how to how to hold my own bottle. With a little help and guidance from him, Im able to feed myself so that Daddy can use the remote control to change the channel on the TV :) Look ma, I can feed myself without the help of Daddy's hands!

Catching up from last weekend
Last weekend, we had another visitor from NYC. Auntie Marianne was in town and stopped by to say hello! We had a lot of fun hearing all about the Paris marathon and to hear about what she's been up to. Can't wait till I get a chance to visit her in NYC sometime!
Last weekend was also the first time Mom and Dad left me with Grandma and Grandpa Kimotsuki. They ventured out to Morgan Hill and stayed overnight at Corde Valle, while I played with Grandma and Grandpa. I tried to be good so that Mom and Dad can plan some future getaway weekends as well. They loved their time off. While it wasn't as sunny as they expected, they enjoyed dining out , breakfast in bed, spending some time at the spa, and even got some a yoga instructor to come by for an hour. I guess the time at the spa wasnt enough so they found their California version of Happy Feet in Milpitas. $20 for an hour long massage. You can't go wrong with those crazy every day prices!

Happy Mother's Day
Yesterday I had fun celebrating Mother's Day with mommy and grandma. Daddy told me that I had to be extra good since it was Mother's Day. So I decided to sleep a little extra and I told Daddy that he was on diaper duty. Daddy and I went to Starbucks for 1 hour so mommy could take a nap before we went to dinner. I gave mommy a plant of baby roses with my picture on it at the end of the day. She loved it! We also gave Grandma a gift certificate to the Nob Hill Spa. Hopefully she will take Mommy and the two of them can get pampered one day soon for all their hard work! I love you Mommy and Grandma!

100 Days Old
On May 4th, I celebrated my 100 Days Old, otherwise known as Okuihajime in Japanese. When a baby turns 100 Days Old, a Japanese tradition is to serve a symbolic "first-meal" to celebrate the baby getting ready to eat food other than milk. Although I won't start eating cereal for several more weeks, Grandma and Grandpa Kimotsuki prepared a feast fit for a Prince. Grandma made a whole fish (for happiness) and also prepared soup with shrimp and lots of sashimi. For dessert, I ate my first Japanese rice cake (manju). It was delicious! I can get used to eating like a prince everyday!
