Happy Birthday Daddy

Today is Daddy's birthday. Im not sure what we have in store for him yet, but Im sure he will love it. I think I will be a little less fussy today so that he can enjoy his day.

Grandma and Grandpa Huen arrived in San Francisco on Friday. Ive been having lots of fun getting to know them. I think I greeted them with a burp and a poo. Everybody I meet these days get the same greeting. I do not discriminate. Auntie Karen came over yesterday too. She brought the best dim sum from Alameda. Yum.

Check out the cool outfit from Auntie Connie when she came to visit. Im practicing how to hail a cab so that when I go to New York City later this year, I can help Mommy and Daddy out. What cab driver wouldnt want to stop for someone that looks like me!

Time to go

After 8 years on AT&T DSL, this latest outage forced us to switch. The Comcast guys are coming by today to install their DSL modem. Good ridance AT&T, your service is terrible.

Speaking of leaving, today is Daddy's last day with Cisco (IronPort). After 7 years on the job, its time to make a switch to work with a different startup. Its sad for him to leave, but exciting to start a new opportunity.

Grandma and Grandpa Huen arrive from New York today. It will be the first time we meet. Can't wait! Mommy and Daddy assembled my new swing this week, and its well...heaven!

AT&T Sucks

This is my first entry since Friday because the internet and phone service at home has been down all weekend. Ugh. Maybe its time to move to Comcast?

The house was full of visitors from the Kimotsuki clan this weekend. Uncle Michael and Auntie Sachiko came up to San Francisco. Sachiko brought me some presents as well as some from her parents. Maybe next time , they will bring their family of dogs. My little hat was a little too big for me, but seems just about right for Grandpa Kimotsuki.

The rain finally stopped today. It was gorgeous outside. Mommy and Daddy were busy getting more errands done. Today they made a salvation army run, as they shed several boxes of old clothes and electronic equipment. They also managed to get some stuff done with the bank this weekend as their condo sale in New York finally closed. Mommy and Daddy are officially San Franciscan's again!

Fussy Night

Long night for Mom and Dad last night. I was really fussy. I think it was something I ate. I was however able to fall asleep after Dad put me in this great bag that the Zinns gave us. Just kidding :)

Yesterday, Mommy had some more friends from work come by. Auntie Tara and Diana. I love meeting new people :) I also took my first bath. I made it through it, but it was not much fun.

Rain Rain Go Away

Its ugly out there. Rainy, windy and gloomy outside. Mommy told her NY coworkers how beautiful the weather has been the last few weeks in the Bay Area, and this week they all came to SF to find all the rain. She went down to the Westin St Francis yesterday to say hi to everyone. She was only gone for 3 hours, but it felt like an eternity to me. I was good though and just kept Grandma Kimotsuki company.

Speaking of Grandma Kimotsuki, its been really great having her around. She helps Mommy and Daddy with so many things. Our favorite thing however is every meal. We all look forward to every meal and wonder whats up her sleeves. Last night it was steak , veggies, and some japanese pork in a broth with daikon. Yum. I think all this great food is helping me put on some weight. I wonder whats for dinner tonight! I hear its lasagna. Woohoo.

Last night Mom and Dad let me play in the Gymini again. I started to figure out that kicking and punching the toys make them move. So cool.

Check out my new kimono from Aunt Kate. They tell me I come from a family of Samurai. They just need to put a little kitana in my hands and I can carry the family tradition.

Silly Monkey

Check out my new outfit from the Pomars! It says Silly Monkey on it. Mom and Dad started calling me Silly Monkey now. Oy vay....

Yesterday our window treatments finally arrived and were put up. All the home improvements are almost all done. The only thing missing now are the new closet doors for the new closet. Love the Sliding Door Company!

We finally got the board approval for our Condo sale of our place in NY. 3 more days and we close on the sale....One more thing off the check list!

Speaking of New York, Auntie Connie was in San Francisco for the Goldman Sachs Technology Conference this week. She made it all the way out to the Marina to say hi to me! I love meeting all of Mommy and Daddy's friends!

Another set of firsts occured today. It was my first Valetine's Day. Happy Valentines Day every one! Mom and Dad let me play with Snoopy today to mark the special occasion.

It also happend to be the first time my gymini was opened up. I love the gymini! Im starting to see all the colors and I love tugging on all the hanging toys. Thats the gymni below. Also, check out my cool shirt that Uncle Harlan gave me!

Finally, Mommy had started to get some of her friends from New York to stop by and say hello today. It was my first time meeting Aunt Lori in person.

Unpacking

Oh man....Unpacking is hard work. All our stuff came from NY on Friday, and we have been busy finding homes for all our stuff. We are on day two of unpacking and Im so tired from taking stuff out of boxes. Mom and Dad just told me to go take a nap by some of the boxes (see picture below).

I did manage to put on my Cal gear for the first time. Mom and Dad say that Im destined to become a Cal Golden Bear. Well, it won't be on a baseball scholarship. That program got cut at Cal yesterday.

Tomorrow Mom and Dad are going to the photographer's to look at my pics. Hope there are a few good ones!

Pooped

Mom said that we had a record days for poops today. Getting close to double digits. I guess that milk just flows right through me. Mom and Dad are also really pooped. I think I just need to let them sleep a little tonight.

Mom got a call from the movers today. Our stuff from New York is in San Jose and will be in San Francisco later today. Dad has to get the house ready to move some of our stuff to Grandma Huen's place in Oakland. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day!

Mom and Dad are also going to meet with our photographer on Monday. Last week, we had a little photo shoot at home. I'm so excited to see the pics, I can poop in my pants. Oops, I just did....

Speaking of pics, here's one that Dad took of me and Mom last week!

Busy Busy

Last night, Mommy and Grandma Kimotsuki gave me my first bath at home. Whoa, that was more fun than I thought. I cant wait for my next one :) We also got our Farm Fresh to You delivery today. There were some funny looking vegetables in there. Mommy followed the included recipe and boy was it yummy. Can't wait for the next delivery!

Mom and Dad have been super busy the past few days. Seems like there is so much stuff that needs to get done. Daddy is getting ready to leave IronPort after 7 years with the company. He's really excited about his new company, but will need to drive really far every day to get there. He's also got a long list of things to do like filling out pre-school applications (yes....Im only 2 weeks old). Mommy has been really busy too. She's been coordinating all the things that need to happen with selling our house in New York City and moving all our stuff in that apt back to San Francisco. Next week, many of Mommy's work friends from New York are coming to visit me! Im so excited to meet them in person. I spent so much time listening to them when Mommy was still in New York and I was in her tummy. Now I will be able to see them.

Cupcakes!!!

Today was my two week  birthday. What a better way to celebrate than to chow down on some cupcakes from visitors in my new digs! Auntie Caroline came by to say hi and she brought some yummy snacks from Kara's Cupcakes. Mom and Dad didn't want to share with me, but the sight and smell made me soooooo hungry. Check out my brand new outfit too! My Auntie Marianne works for Ralph Lauren and bought me this great suit with matching hat (see the pic below). Watch out ladies!

Spring is in the air

What more can a little boy ask for than close to 70 degree weather in San Francisco. Sure felt like spring outside today. Warm, beautiful, and sunny. Mommy and Daddy said they left New York in a good year. Its been very chilly out there.

Speaking of spring, Mommy and Daddy were doing some spring cleaning today. The got some guys to clean out the heating ducts and the furnace. Ahhhh....dust free.

The highlight of my day were my new blocks! Thanks Uncle Danny and Auntie Vida!!

Hey, thats my name!

Hey, thats me. Thats not from today, but I like this picture of me!

Its Monday so its almost the beginning of week 3 of my short life

Yesterday, my family went out to the farmers market while I stayed home with Daddy. We love all the fresh fruit and vegetables.  While they went shopping, I played with the colorful octopus you see in this picture. I cant really see what Im looking at but I can make out the bright colors. When Daddy moves the octopus around, I follow it with my eyes. He smells so good too! Uncle Bill gave me my octopus friend to play with before I left New York. I miss New York.

Congrats to Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers!  We had some Patxi's pizza while the we watched the game with Grandma and Grandpa Kimotsuki. Love Chicago Style Pizza! I think the pizza was a little much for my little tummy though. I had a record number of poops today :(

Mom and Dad were also getting to know their fairly new camera. They still havent quite figured it out yet. Shutter speeds, aperture settings, ISO, etc.....Seems like a lot to learn for them. Here are a few shots that they took after the game tonight. Tomorrow, Daddy has to go to work, but Mommy , Grandma and Grandpa are still going to watch me. Im sure they will continue to fight over who gets to change my diapers, feed me by the bottle, and hold me :)

Superbowl Sunday

Daddy said he would help me write something about me everyday. He found this website where I can share my story and pictures. Here is the first pic. My IronPort family sent me these flowers when I was born. Mommy and daddy took me into my new bedroom and took a picture of me with my flowers! I love them.

Yesterday daddy set up the video monitor so that Grandma Kimotsuki can watch me while she is in the kitchen. Mommy and daddy also rearranged all the furniture in the bedroom. Ive  been peeing alot and mommy and daddy wanted to make sure that I dont spray the rug and Mommy's clothes in the closet when they are changing my diapers. We also watched the Cal vs Arizona basketball game. What a game. If only I could get out of my diapers and convince coach Montgomery that I can play, Im sure I would have lead Cal to victory. However, we lost in triple overtime. Great show young  bears!

Today is Super Bowl Sunday. Im really looking forward to my first Super Bowl. We are rooting for Aaron Rodgers because he's Daddy's favorite Cal alumni in the NFL. Daddy also bought me some new born Cal gear online last night. I cant wait for that picture to get posted! Go Bears!

Grandma and Grandpa Huen also bought there tickets yesterday to come to San Francisco. I can t wait to see them for the first time on February 20!
