What Halloween means to me:

Commander Huen at your service. Lifting off from a sugar high.

Halloween is pretending to be someone your'e not or aspire to be
Halloween is a day for kids to celebrate
Halloween is skeletons and ghosts
Halloween is for parents to ooh and ahh at all the creativity
Most importantly, Halloween is a day for me to get all this CANDY!!!!

Double fisting.

The neighbors on Avila Street are so nice. Look at that big bowl of candy!

Looks like the San Diego Chicken

Checking out the all the great decorations on Avila Street

Halloween Brunch

Logan and Reece hosted a little Halloween shin dig at their place today. I haven't seen then in a few months, so it was great seeing them again. Its fun to know I've got some friends that live near by. Almost all the kids at the brunch today were born within a month of each other, so it was really fun! We had a blast playing with all the toys, each other, and our furry friends.

Commander Huen checking out the skies to see if he's going to fly today.

A newborn! I remember when I was that small!

Great Skunk costume, but I think its probably a little hot for him

Tigers!!!! Hey, thanks for hosting!

Watch out, this gang is pretty tough.

My bud Kaiden checking out the dog.

Hey, let me play with that.

Last Weekend Of October

Another absolutely gorgeous day in San Francisco. 70 degrees and blue skies are a recipe for great weather and a great weekend!

We started our Satuday with a little Facetime with Grandma. Mom and Grandma Kimotsuki love their new iPhones. In the afternoon, we took a nice stroll down Chestnut and ran some errands. Dad finally got some new light bulbs for the garage and he also go his annual flu shot. I got mine when I went for my 9 month old checkup yesterday. Dad was the last in our family to get his flu shot. Slow poke :)

Later in the afternoon, we found out that Super Duper Burgers is now in the Marina. We just had Super Duper last Sunday, so we decided to try the new Umami Burgers on Union St. Oh.... that's heavanly.

Facetiming with Grandma.

Sometimes you feel like being in the bouncy seat, sometimes you feel like being under it :)

Umami Burger. Whos that handsome guy in the background?

I'm digging this high chair

Standing

Did I mention that I love to stand as much as possible now? I started to begin standing on my trip to New York, but now I stand with every chance I get.

Playing after bath time

What is this big silver thing?

Hmm...this mattress looks more comfortable than my crib

We've Been Busy

Oh my, its been a crazy couple of weeks. Unfortunately, it also meant that I havent quite had the time to blog in a while. However, now that things are settling down, Im hoping to get back into my normal rhythm.

So whats been up? Ive been going through sleep training. Ive been waking up in the middle of the night quite frequently and I dont nap very well during the day, so Mom and Dad hired a sleep consultant. She discovered that I basically have not been eating enough during the day and not napping enough during the day. Those two changes seemed to have helped me sleep better through the night. However, the schedule is so strict that it has not allowed us to venture out as much. Hopefully that will change soon.

My two front teeth are not prominently displayed every time I smile now. Hopefully Mom or Dad can get a good photo for you all to see sometime soon.

Speaking of photos, both Mom and Dad got their new iPhone 4S's last week. Here's a couple of shots from dinner last night at Super Duper.

I cant wait to get my mouth on those burgers!

Hmmm, there they are. How do I get them to feed me one?

Fleet Week

Blue Angels flying over the Golden Gate Bridge

Its that time of year again. Fleet Week. All the streets in the Marina are full of out of towners, there a roof top parties on top of every building, parking is impossible to find in the area, sailors and Marines litter the streets, and the Marina green is covered in tents representing the Navy, Coast Guard, and Marines. The highlight of it all is the air show featuring the Blue Angels. They whisk around at blazing speeds showing off what it means to have precision flying and display powerful and agile maneuvers. Mom and Dad let me watch some of the show from our window, and then walked  me down to the Marina Green for the Blue Angels. What a treat.

The Blue Angel's C130 nicknamed Fat Albert signals the start of the show.

Im back!

Sorry, its been a while since I've blogged. I can probably rattle off quite a few excuses but probably the main thing is that I've recorded my first fever and illness last week. The doctor said I had a virus, so I've been a litle cranky and havent been eating until recently. Of course. Mom and Dad were really worried, but Im perfectly fine right now. Over the course of the next few days, I'll be trying to catch you all up a bit. There's been a lot of things going on in Ethan's world.
