What another beautiful day in San Francisco. Mommy and Daddy took me out to the Fort Mason farmers market today to buy some fruits and vegetables for the week. Yum. Daddy wore me like an accessory using the Baby Bjorn. It was the only accessory he was wearing that got this much attention! There were so many folks stopping and staring at me. I think they were in just complete shock at how cute I was :)
It was kind of like that at dinner last night too. Auntie Melanie was in town yesterday and came by to say hi. So we all went to dinner and a number of folks at the restaurant also could not believe my cuteness. They were in awe. We had a great meal last night with some great company! By the way, thanks Auntie Melanie for the cute Yahoo onesies! Expect to see them on the blog in the future!
Before we headed out to the Farmer's market today, Mom and Dad took some shots of me while I was getting ready to go out. They seemed to really enojoy this one.

Baseball is here!
Two days into the 2011 MLB season, Daddy and I have watched about 3 or 4 games now. We watched the fish down our beloved Mets , watched the Sox take on the Rangers, and watched Jonathan Sanchez throw a pretty good game last night. Daddy signed us up for MLB.TV so we can watch more games and we are loving every minute of it. We are watching the replay of yesterday's Blue Jays game as we put up this blog entry!
The last few days have been unbelievably hot in San Francisco. We had to bring up the fan and place it near the french doors get the air circulating in the house. No need for air conditioning in San Francisco, but why it took us 13 years of living in SF to buy a fan, I dont know. In fact, the fan we do have wasn't even purchased in SF. We brought it over from NY when we sold our apartment there.
Mommy and Daddy figured out that I love it when my legs are squished up. I love this position!
Mommy and Daddy think I've been getting chubby. What do you think?

Learning
Things I learned today:
I learned how to soothe myself by sucking on my hand.
I learned how to roll over to my back from my tummy time position
I learned how to raise my head up real high during tummy time
I learned how to fist pump
I learned how to change my own diaper. Just kidding :)
Things I unlearned today:
How to eat out of a bottle!!

Fremont
We are staying down in Fremont for a few days. Its been a nice little break from the every day monotony of San Francisco. Dont get me wrong, we love our place and we love San Francisco, but Mommy and I have been cooped up in the apartment for the last 8 weeks. So its quite refreshing to be out of the house. Im hoping Mommy and Daddy plan us a real trip somewhere soon. How am I supposed to get my AA Executive Platinum Status if Mommy and Daddy continue not to fly! Im thinking about all the places we can go for a little vacay. Paris, Milan, New York, Mexico, etc.....
Meanwhile, we are having a blast down in Fremont. Dad had a nice 25 min commute from Fremont to Milpitas today. Mom and Dad took a little trip down to Target after Dad got home from work. We dont have one of those in the SF yet. I think they really loved shopping there. They've come a long way. They went from an affinity for shopping at Barney's and Bergdorf, to an affinity for shopping at Target. Yikes.
Fremont has been great as its given me a chance to spend some extended time with the rest of the Kimotsuki clan on their home court. Uncle Michael had dinner with us last night and I got a chance to hang out with Homer! Im looking forward to future visits from the rest of Uncle Michael's canine clan.
So we sent our birth announcements that we received from the photographer last week. They really came out better than we hoped. For all you new parents out there, if you live in the Bay Area and you are looking for someone to take some newborn shots, our photographer Anna Myers was just fantastic. She was so great to work with and the photos can out really great. We would highly recommend using her. Here are a couple more pics and a url to the birth announcements that she helped put together.

Tax Time
Last night's storm was a little scary for me. The winds were howling and the rain was coming down hard. It was making the house creak with all sorts of loud noises and we could actually feel the building sway because of the strong winds. No big deal though. Because of the storm, we decided to stay in and play with some toys we had lying around the house. Here is a pic and a video from last night.
Last weekend was supposed to be the weekend that Mommy and Daddy worked on taxes. They got preoccupied taking care of me and watching re-runs on TV so they tried to get it done during the week. Here's a pic from last weekend:
Then during the week, they got preoccupied watching the grass grow, so they procrastinated on working on taxes until this weekend. They finally got it done this weekend though! Thank goodness. Now they can pass the rest of the work off to the accountant!
Tonight, we are headed to Fremont to spend a couple of nights with Grandma and Grandpa Kimotsuki! Should be fun for everyone and it will be a nice short commute for Dad (who needs to drive to Milpitas for work).

Photos are here!
Our pics from the photographer arrived this morning and Im thrilled to post a pic on the blog. I'll post a few here and there so you guys can check them out. Here's pick #1.
I went to the doctor's today. Im weighing in at 10 pounds and change now. Daddy and Mommy were taking bets on weight. Mommy won with her guess of 10 pounds nine ounces. Daddy called 11 pounds, 8 ounces. I also got some vaccinations today. It wasn't a pretty sight. There was a lot of crying involved. All is good now though. All the docs and nurses wanted to pinch my ever growing cheeks. I think that hurt more than the shots!
I heard there was a tornado warning in San Mateo today. Im sure glad Daddy worked from home so he didnt get stuck in traffic in that poor weather down highway 101.

Happy St Patty's Day
Its very green in the Huen household today in honor of St Patty. As you can tell in the pic we are all wearing green too! Thanks Auntie Lovey #1 (aka Auntie Chena) for the green onesie. It came in very handy on a day like today!
My second cousin Sarah came today all the way from Boston! It was great seeing her and hearing about whats going on with her and her family. She came bearing gifts from the Kwan family! The bear is already one of my best friends.
Tomorrow, Im headed to the doctor to get my vaccinations. Maybe mommy will give me an extra feeding for being so brave to get all those shots. I hate shots....
