I hope you my readers wish my cousin Sophie and a I happy birthday. We both had one to celebrate today. This was Sophie's 1 month birthday and my 8 month birthday. Yesterday also happens to be Auntie Karen's birthday. Happy Birthday everyone!

Happy Birthday to Us!

Hey, is that my bottle? Sure looks like it!

We love giving gifts. I hope this fits Sophie!

Nap time for Sohpie!

I think Gramps must have called Dad to find out what I was wearing.
We're very coordinated.

Geez Sophie's eating again? When do I get my turn?

On the way home I got a new high chair. Dad says I can use it as a workstation.
Here I am blogging. Watch out, Mastermind at work!

Tahoe Part Deux and Tomales Bay

We concluded our trip to Tahoe late Sunday morning. It was a great time out. I loved crawling around that nice big house and climbing the stairs to the second floor. It was great seeing everyone. I know I especially loved playing with other folks that live so close to the floor like me (Mookie, Sasha, Cody and Homer)!

It was also a time to celebrate Grandma Kimotsuki's birthday. Nothing says happy birthday like a birthday cake and family.

Cool candles....Better blow them out fast before they melt.

Hmmm, I wonder if the there any treats over there. Mom wont let me eat this cake.

Where's uncle Michael?
Well, our trip home was definitely took us a while. We made a big detour as we attempted to avoid the 80 traffic around the Bay Bridge. So instead, we decided to take the Golden Gate Bridge back to San Francisco. On the way, we had a craving for oysters. So what better place to visit than Tomales Bay and gobble down some oysters. Afterwards we took highway 1 and enjoyed the scenic views all the way back to San Francisco.

You'd look a little grumpy too if you were sitting in a car seat for 3 hours just to get to Tomales Bay

Tahoe Part 1

Great weather, check
Beautiful scenery, check
Wonderful accomodations, check
Great company, check
Birthday celebration, check

My criteria for a great weekend getaway was completely fulfilled this weekend. It was a weekend of rest and relaxation for the entire family in beautiful Lake Tahoe. It was my first trip up in to the mountains and Im looking forward to the next one. Thank you Uncle Michael and Aunt Sachiko for having us up to enjoy Grandma Kimotsuki's birthday.

The lake was absolutely gorgeous. I brought my swim gear, but after I put my first toe in the water, I decided it was just a bit too cold for me so I didnt jump into the water. Mookie however, had something I didnt have. A lifejacket! So he jumped in and got in a good workout swimming around in that cold water!

Cool fallen tree

Mom, can we just play in the sand first?

Me and Dad

Are you kidding me dad! You want me to go in there? Let me hang out on this rock instead.

I didnt like the sand at first, but at the end of the day, I LOVED it!

Check out Mookie swimming in his life jacket! I want one too!

Me and my bud Mookie! I became best friends with Cody, Homer and Sasha too!

Back at the house I think I think my lunch gave a little gasp....burp

Lets go for a quick walk!

Central Park Zoo

The second to last day was spent at Bloomingdales, Barney's and my favorite...Central Park and the Central Park Zoo. It was a nice day so after a little bit of shopping, we took a stroll through Central Park. Dad stopped and we played on a park bench before heading over to the zoo. I've never seen so many animals in my whole short life! Then on the way home, Dad saw another celebrity. Dad said some people liked to call him King James, but his real name was Lebron.

Tomorrow we head home in the evening. I wonder what Dad has in store for us during the day....

Central Park!

My ticket to the zoo.

Ooooh.I like Polar Bears!

Im getting tired. Hey you can see City Spire in the background.

Sunday - New York City

Im just a little man in a big city. I feel so small.
Our trip to New York City is winding down. We fly home on Tuesday. Today, we went to see Auntie Marianne and Uncle Paul. It was fun to visit their place (on the other side of the same block that Daddy and Mommy lived on) and then it was off to lunch at one of our favorite ramen places, Menchanko. Mom and Dad love that place so much they went to the one in Honolulu too (but just for a photo opp).

Me with Auntie Marianne and Uncle Paul

Black and White shot of the 3 of us. By the way, they got me this outfit from the company they work at. Ralph Lauren.

Ohhh, furry rugs. My favorite.

You gotta start your day off with a cup of joe

Lucky us. We found a free table in Times Square

Mom, can we go to Bergdorf again. Its right over there!

I loved this chair Bergdorf Men's.

Welcome to our world of toys!

Dad, can I have this monkey. I promise I'll take care of it.

Mom and Dad said Id find Smurfs in Columbus Circle yesterday. I found them at FAO Schwartz.

All these dogs remind me of Uncle Mike's apartment

Cool tiger, but Id rather ride the Lion.

These pics were from yesterday. I forgot to upload them last night. I guess I was getting too tired at Midnight when I did the blog entry. Anyway, enjoy!

Me and Mom at Radio City. She promised to take me to see Elmo
